Independence Day is a day when we pay homage to our valiant freedom fighters. 76th Independence Day of our beloved country India was celebrated with great enthusiasm and respect on Saturday, August 13,2022 by the students of classes 3 to 5. Around 1200 students of classes 3rd, 4th & 5th showcased their patriotic fervour. The festivities commenced with the hoisting of our National Tricolour, the pride of the Nation, by the Principal Sh.V.K.Chopra accompanied by the Supervisory Heads amidst the rendition of the National Anthem.
The ambience reverberated with feelings of patriotism and was resplendent in the shades of tricolour, a plethora of motivating performances on patriotic themes were presented by the children. Expressing their vision of a new and awakened India, poems in Hindi & English were recited beautifully. Our ebullient speakers urged for commitment and dedication to uphold the honour, integrity, dignity and uniqueness of our nation by their speeches.
Furthermore, a special dance -drama ‘Bharat Bhagya Vidhata -Ek Manthan was presented to salute the real heroes of our country. The show comprised of gamut of performances to celebrate the historic day permeated the audiences with a halo of patriotic fervour.
Wishing everyone on the propitious event, Principal, Sh.V.K.Chopra urged all the little DAVians to maintain the dignity of being proud citizens by developing a sense of conviction and dedication towards the country.
The event was full of patriotism and enthusiasm that kindled a sense of love for our country within the children.
