World Book Day Celebration

The Nursery Wing celebrated World Book Day on 23rd Apri, 2026  with great zeal and excitement . A special assembly was organized where the children presented a delightful performance highlighting the importance of books in our lives. Through their expressions and actions, the children beautifully conveyed how books are our best friends.

Adding a creative touch, the children also spoke about their little classroom companions—pencil, eraser, and sharpener—emphasizing their role in the learning journey.

The concept of *D.E.A.R. Time (Drop Everything and Read)* was introduced and explained to the children, encouraging them to develop a habit of reading regularly. The importance of books in enhancing knowledge, imagination, and language skills was highlighted.

A fun and engaging activity, “Story in a Jar", was conducted where children created their own stories using picture prompts. This activity greatly enhanced their language skills, creativity, and imagination.

The celebration was a meaningful learning experience that inspired the children to love books and develop a lifelong reading habit.
