INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Love for the country by embracing humanity and zeal to undergo any kind of hardships in service of the motherland is the need of the hour today. It was a momentous occasion as DAV Public School Sahibabad celebrated the nation’s 78^th Independence Day on 15^th Aug 2024 in the school premises. The school was hallowed with the gracious presence of Col. Manoj Singh as the Chief Guest, Mrs. Singh as the First Lady and Ms. Anita Wadhera, Manager of the school as the Guest of Honour who were escorted to the programme venue by the school NCC cadets. Mesmerizing song presentations by the musical maestros of the school orchestra, enflamed every heart with patriotism for the nation. A breath-taking ballet ‘Pradyot’depicting the heart-rending sacrifices of some of our unsung and forgotten freedom fighters like martyr MatanginiHazra and Senapati Pandurang Bapat who laid down their lives for the motherland, stole the show. Tricoloured balloons were released to mark the significance of freedom for the nation. The programme culminated with a Vote of Thanks by the Masters of the Ceremony.
