HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE

DAV Public School, Sahibabad school came into existence in 1984 at Raj Nagar Ghaziabad in a hired building and was later shifted to Rajender Nagar, Sahibabad. The school has made steady progress since then. It is running under the trust of Dayanand Anglo Vedic College Trust and Management Society, also commonly known as the Dayanand Anglo-Vedic Education Society. DAV stands for faith in the eternal values of Vedic Dharma and study of modern Indian languages, science and technology. The DAV Movement founded in 1885 is the largest non-government educational organization in the country, managing over 900 schools, 75 colleges and a university in India and overseas. DAV institutions have rendered a unique service, in not only dispelling ignorance and illiteracy but also in producing patriots, freedom fighters, social reformers, intellectuals, thinkers, legal luminaries, sportsmen, doctors, engineers, IT professionals and others of unparalleled merit, integrity and calibre.
