POLICE KI PATHSHALA
The safety and security of the students has been of utmost priority at DAV Public School, Sahibabad. Keeping this in view, an interactive session ‘Police Ki Pathshala’ was organized in the school premises in collaboration with the popular Hindi newspaper ‘Amar Ujala’ on 19th July 2024 for the students of class-XI. The Chief Guest and main Resource Person who addressed the students with his highly informative talk on ‘Cyber Safety and Security’ was IPS officer DCP trans-Hindon Mr. Nimish Patil. Other dignitaries who updated the students on this topic were ASP Mr. Siddharth Gautam and the Station Head of Shalimar Garden Police Station Mr. Narendra Kumar. On this occasion, students were given numerous guidelines and safety protocols to protect themselves from various types of cybercrime. Students were counselled to keep away from opening accounts or posting pictures and messages on social media platforms till they are below 18 years of age. They were asked to report to parents, teachers or the police through a few phone numbers (shared with the students), if they become victims of cyber bullying or fraud. The session was highly successful as students opened up on issues faced by them and raised queries to enlighten themselves on the issue.
