Daddy & Me – Strengthening Bonds
DAV Sahibabad joyfully organized a special event titled “Daddy & Me – Strengthening Bonds”* for the *Nursery Class on 26th December, 2025, celebrating the unique and loving bond between fathers and their little ones. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from fathers, creating a warm, cheerful, and emotionally enriching atmosphere.
The celebration began with the gracious presence of proud fathers who joined their children to create unforgettable moments of togetherness. The event beautifully unfolded through “Bond & Bloom Moments,” where fathers and children spent quality time together, strengthening emotional connections through shared joy, laughter, and affection.
One of the most exciting activities was the “Daddy Dynamo Race,” where fathers ran hand-in-hand with their tiny tots, filling the venue with cheers, excitement, and radiant smiles. This was followed by “Splash of Love,” a creative T-shirt painting activity in which fathers and children painted together, expressing their love through colours and creativity.
A unique and engaging activity, “Healthy Bites with Papa,”* saw fathers preparing healthy sandwiches for their children, highlighting the importance of nutritious eating habits and a father’s active involvement in a child’s daily life.
The event was further enlivened with *dance, music, fun games, and cheerful selfie moments, beautifully capturing the happiness, bonding, and togetherness shared by the participants.
The celebration concluded with an inspiring address by the Honourable Principal, Mrs Monika Mehan, who emphasized the vital role of fathers in a child’s holistic development. She highlighted the importance of spending quality time with children, nurturing strong emotional bonds, and being actively involved in their upbringing.
