Sensory Station
DAV Sahibabad organized an engaging and interactive Sensory Station Activity for the UKG (Balvatika-3) children on 30th April 2026. The activity aimed to help children explore and understand their five senses in a fun and experiential way.
Different stations were thoughtfully set up, each dedicated to one of the five senses. At the sight station, children enjoyed observing through a bioscope, binocular, and magnifying glass, which sparked their curiosity and excitement. The hearing station featured a variety of musical instruments, allowing children to listen to and identify different sounds.
At the smell station, children explored a range of fragrances such as camphor, perfumes, and spices, enhancing their sensory awareness. The taste station offered a variety of flavours where children relished sweet, salty, and spicy items. Lastly, the touch station gave children the opportunity to feel and differentiate between various textures such as smooth, soft, and rough.
The children actively participated in all the stations and thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on experience. The activity not only made learning enjoyable but also helped strengthen their sensory development.
