Baisakhi Celebration

The Nursery Wing celebrated the vibrant festival of Baisakhi on 13th April, 2026 with great joy and enthusiasm. The celebration aimed to introduce the little learners to the cultural significance of this harvest festival.

A special morning assembly was conducted by UKG children where they beautifully explained the importance of harvesting and how farmers celebrate the festival with happiness and gratitude. Their confident expressions and simple explanations made the assembly both informative and delightful.

Adding to the festive spirit, the tiny tots presented a lively Baisakhi dance dressed in beautiful  attire. The colorful costumes and energetic performance created a cheerful  atmosphere.

As part of the creative activity, the children engaged in a craft session where they made crops using finger printing. This hands-on activity not only enhanced their creativity but also helped them understand the concept of harvesting in a fun way.

To make the celebration even more memorable, each child was given a small dhol as a takeaway, which added excitement and allowed them to carry the festive joy back home.

Overall, the Baisakhi celebration was a wonderful blend of learning, creativity, and enjoyment for little learners.
