Earth Day Celebration

Little learners of DAV Sahibabad celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April, 2026  with great enthusiasm and awareness. The day began with a Special Assembly, where the children confidently presented short performances highlighting the importance of our planet and ways to protect it.

The children shared simple yet meaningful messages on saving the Earth, such as "Save Water,” “Save Electricity,” “Plant Trees,” and “Say No to Plastic.” They also took a heartfelt Earth Day pledge, promising to care for the environment and adopt eco-friendly habits in their daily lives.

To make learning more experiential, a nature walk was organised within the school premises. The children observed their surroundings closely and developed a deeper connection with nature. A special “Hug a Tree” activity was conducted to encourage love and care for plants.

Adding a creative touch to the celebration, the children participated in a craft activity where they made beautiful Earth impressions using finger painting. Their excitement and creativity were truly delightful.

As a token of encouragement, each child was given an Earth Day badge, inspiring them to become young caretakers of the planet.

The celebration was a wonderful blend of learning and fun, helping the children understand the importance of protecting our Earth in a joyful and meaningful way.
