Grandparents' Day Celebration at Nursery Wing
The Nursery Wing is always committed to fostering not only the academic growth of children but also their social, emotional, and holistic development. On 21st September, Grandparents' Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm. The children delighted their grandparents with mesmerizing dance performances and heartfelt songs, creating precious memories for everyone.
The most electrifying and fun-filled segment of the day was “Cradle to Catwalk”, where innocence and experience walked hand in hand down the ramp.
Another emotional highlight was Dil Ki Baat, where grandparents were given the opportunity to share their thoughts, feelings, and cherished memories. As a gesture of love, the children gifted their grandparents handmade tokens—cards and bookmarks—that they had lovingly created.
In addition to the festivities, special attention was given to raising awareness about Alzheimer's disease, as 21st September also marks World Alzheimer's Day. Grandparents were informed about its symptoms, its impact on senior citizens, and the importance of early detection and preventive measures.
The objective of this celebration was to instill the values of gratitude, love, and respect in children towards their families and elders. The day was a beautiful reminder of the bond between generations and the importance of cherishing it.
