TEACHERS- The unsung heros

As the calander flips to September, the students nationwide prepare to celebrate Teachers' Day, the birthday of Shri. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the first vice president of India. The premises of DAV Public School, Sahibabad, witnessed one such show put up gracefully by the talented students of Vikram Batra House of secondary wing. The girls brigade, in full swing, put forth a great assembly. They performed a potical skit- The Chronicles of Classroom, in which the participants role played as teacher and student and brought to life the classroom dynamics and greeting melancholy etc. It was followed by an informative speech on how teachers are the building blocks of any society and how the new education policy has envisioned the effectiveness of teachers' training and professional development an integral part of education system. The students did not stop here. They mesmerized the audience with a dance performance which was solely dedicated to thanking the unsung heroes of their academic lives. In the end, the students paid gratitude to all the teachers, with a big round of applause, who work relentlessly towards shaping the future of their pupils. The entire event was well enjoyed and appreciated by the Hon. Principal Sir of the school.
