Van Mahotsav

Van Mahotsav celebration at DAV Public School Sahibabad Upper Primary Wing celebrated Van Mahotsav on 4.7.24 with great zeal, engaging students in Mass activity *The Whispers of Jungle* to promote environmental awareness and its conservation. The celebration included activities such as poem recitation, composing poems, and a plantation drive. Students from 3rd grade participated in the poem recitation competition centered around nature, trees, and the environment. Each student delivered their poems with passion and emotion, highlighting the significance of trees in our lives. Whereas grade 4 students composed their own poems about nature. This activity allowed them to express their thoughts and feelings about the environment creatively. The best poems were selected. The highlight of the event was the plantation drive. Students, teachers along with Principal Sh. M.K Thakur actively participated in planting saplings around the school premises. This activity not only beautified the school grounds but also instilled a sense of responsibility in the students towards the environment.
