National Unity Day celebrations at DAV Public School

“Manpower without unity is not a strength unless it is harmonised and united properly, then it becomes a spiritual power”

Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National unity day) was celebrated at DAV Public School . A throng of activities were organised to spread awareness and celebrate the great day. To mark the occasion " Unity Run" was organised in school . Students along with teachers participated enthusiastically in Unity Run spreading the message of unity.
A special assembly was organised to commemorate the Birth Anniversary of Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel .
The assembly began with Gayatri mantra and English prayer followed by the speeches explaining the Importance of National Unity day.To re-affirm the inherent strength and resilience of our nation the students presented a musical skit showcasing the unification of different castes, religions, cultures and languages. Students sang and enjoyed the Statue of Unity Movement Anthem . Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge was taken by all the students , Principal and teaching staff to uphold the unity and integrity of the Nation. All the students wholeheartedly participated in the assembly and enthralled the audience with their performance. Though short yet significant programme evoked the spirit of “Ekta” amongst all.
