National Tree Day

DAV Public School, Sahibabad celebrated National Tree Day on 25th July 2025 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The celebration commenced with a colourful and meaningful Special Assembly presented by the Eco Warriors of UKG class aiming to instill a deep sense of love and responsibility towards nature among the budding learners.

A heartwarming skit titled "Trees are Our Best Friends" was beautifully enacted by the children, conveying the vital role trees play in our lives and the urgent need to protect them.

Adding rhythm and joy to the celebration, the children performed a lively dance to the song “Chalo Milke Ek Ped Lagaye”, dressed in charming tree-themed costumes and headgears. Their cheerful and energetic performance spread a powerful message about planting trees and nurturing our green planet.

The celebration also included an engaging "Hug a Tree" activity, where children lovingly embraced the trees in the school campus—symbolizing their innocent affection and emotional bond with the nature.

A special pledge was taken by all the children to protect trees, plant more saplings, and never harm nature by cutting down trees.

The celebration concluded with a strong collective message:

“Plant Trees, Save Trees, Love Trees.”

The entire event was a wonderful blend of joy and learning, nurturing a deep appreciation for nature and creating lasting memories for our little eco-warriors.
