Earth Day Celebration

The Nursery Wing of DAV Public School, Sahibabad celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm on 24th April 2025, through a series of engaging and thoughtful activities. The celebration aimed to instil a sense of love, respect, and responsibility for Mother Earth in our little learners.

The day began with a Special Assembly conducted by the tiny tots, where they presented a heart-warming skit highlighting the importance of saving our planet, keeping the surroundings clean, planting trees, and conserving natural resources. Their spirited performance left a lasting impression on everyone present.

Adding a poetic touch to the celebration, a Mass Activity – ‘Nanhe Kavi’ was organized, where our budding poets recited heartfelt rhymes dedicated to Mother Earth. Their innocent expressions and meaningful verses conveyed powerful messages of care and environmental awareness.

To ignite creativity and enhance fine motor skills, a Craft Activity was also held. Children participated enthusiastically in making Earth-themed headgear and Happy Earth wristbands using the tear and paste activity. The joy of creating while learning about the planet was clearly visible on their smiling faces.

The Earth Day celebration was a beautiful blend of learning and fun, nurturing a deep appreciation for the planet among our young learners and inspiring them to grow into responsible little eco-warriors.
