To enhance experiential learning and spark curiosity, a *Sensory Learning Station Activity* was conducted for the LKG children on 11th July, 2025.The aim of this interactive session was to help little learners explore and understand the five senses – Sight, Smell, Hearing, Taste, and Touch through engaging and fun filled activities.
*Five Creative Stations* were set up, each dedicated to one of the five senses:
Sight Station* – Children identified colorful objects, observed patterns.
*Smell Station* – Kids explored a variety of smells and enjoyed thoroughly to guess and differentiate the smells.
*Hearing Station* They listened and identified to various everyday sounds and musical instruments,.
*Taste Station* – Tiny taste buds were activated with samples of sweet, sour, salty, and bitter items.
*Touch Station* – Children touched and felt different textures like cotton, sandpaper, sponge, and smooth stones to describe how they felt.
The children thoroughly enjoyed this hands-on learning experience, which helped in developing their *observation, communication, and cognitive skills*. It was a joyful and enriching day that turned learning into a delightful exploration of the senses!
