"Let us recognise and celebrate our community helpers"

 Helpers’ Fair was organised at DAV Public School, Sahibabad by little learners of Nursery Wing on 21st August 2025. The event was dedicated to honour the invaluable contribution of all the helpers who play a vital role in the smooth functioning of school life.

A special assembly by UKG was organised in their honour. The programme began with a warm welcome of the helpers. The tiny tots expressed their gratitude by singing the “Thank You Helpers” rhyme with great enthusiasm.

To acknowledge their services, the little captains of each class of the Nursery Wing performed a Tilak ceremony, presented ‘Thank You’ badges, and offered a small token of love and recognition to each helper of the school.

Various helpers including the Plumber, Carpenter, Electrician, Nurse, Sweeper, Driver, Conductor, Gardener, Guard, and Aaya Didis were invited. They came with their respective tools and demonstrated how they use them in their daily work. The little learners interacted with them, observed their tools closely, and gained a better understanding of their importance in everyday life.

The activity not only introduced the children to different community helpers but also instilled in them the values of respect, appreciation, and gratitude towards those who silently work to make our lives easier.

The Helpers’ Fair was indeed a meaningful and joyful experience, leaving the children with the message that every role in society deserves respect and recognition.
