One Child, One Plant

A Green Initiative was taken by the students of DAV Sahibabad to enhance green cover, which contributes to improved air quality & to foster environmental protection. It aimed to raise awareness about the importance of planting trees for a greener and healthier future. Encouraging students to plant saplings wherever convenient – be it at school, home, or nearby places. There were several activities like plantation drive, story telling to save trees, dramatization which were pursued for students of Class I & II on 8 August 2023. Teachers facilitated class discussions about various environmental concerns & the importance of tree plantation. The event not only contributed to the environment but also served as a platform to educate and inspire individuals to take proactive steps towards a sustainable future. Enthusiastic individuals coming together to contribute to environmental conservation and beautification efforts and raised awareness about the importance of planting trees for a greener and healthier future. Each participant actively participated in planting and nurturing the saplings, fostering a sense of community engagement and responsibility.
