No Bag Day
No Bag Day is a special initiative aimed at promoting a more relaxed and creative learning environment. Upper Primary wing has embraced this concept, allowing students to experience a day without carrying heavy backpacks filled with textbooks and notebooks on 7.10.23.
Throughout the day, teachers conducted interactive and creative lessons that did not require textbooks.
The day started with the mindful breathing exercises with some Zumba and freeze dance in nature's lap. Followed by the mass activity "Ethnic Mosaic" Which filled the
entire wing with cultural hues where children showcased the culture, tradition, songs or dance of the state they belong to.
Blow painting and thread painting invoked the artistic and creative skills of young artists. Word Scavenger Hunt was the wonderful display of team work, intelligence and great observational skills.
Discussion and Quiz on Chandrayaan 3 was truly a learning experience. Not only students but teachers also learnt a lot through this activity. The day ended with a motivational animated movie.
No Bag Day was a successful initiative that not only alleviated the physical strain on students but also promoted creative and interactive learning experiences. This event served as a reminder of the importance of balance in education and the need to explore alternative teaching methods. It also reinforced the values of responsibility and collaboration among our students. We hope to continue organizing such events to enhance the overall learning experience at our school.
